Celebrate Mom with a Garden Theme Mother’s Day Party!
Keep it simple to enjoy family time…
Celebrate Mom with a Garden Themed Mother’s Day Party! As a Scottsdale Wedding Planner and mother of 3, I really enjoy entertaining, but want to be sure I’m not stuck in the kitchen all day–especially on Mother’s Day. So plan ahead and keep it simple, so you can enjoy time with your family. After all, that’s what mom really wants is time with the ones they love.
One thing my wedding couples tell me is that they appreciate the level of detail we bring to our events. As a Scottsdale Wedding Planner, one of the many ways we work to bring personalization to our events is through food and drink. A Signature Cocktail like the Belvoir English Garden really added a tasty and fun element to our party. Our terra cotta pots filled with hummus and carrots was another cute way to present an appetizer. Simple slider-style sandwiches were topped with a basil leaf and tomato, again, making for a nice presentation. For dessert, we ordered macarons from one of our favorite bakeries. The hand painted roses on the cookies matched the color and theme of our party.
Our bright yellow watering can filled with spring flowers made for a fabulous centerpiece and doubles as a gift for mom. If your mom is a true gardener, garden tools and a planter are items she will use again and again and think of you! And if you’re looking for a simple craft for the little ones, consider painting rocks to look like ladybugs or purchase a wood birdhouse to paint. These keepsakes are always treasured by moms and grandmothers.
One thing I’ve learned as a Scottsdale Wedding Planner is that presentation is something that makes an event memorable. So don’t be afraid to try something out of the box and you’ll find that your family and friends will be talking about your parties for years to come!
